The Secret Garden

I read " The Secret Garden ". This story was peopled three children, Mary, Dickon and Colin. Mary has a thin little face and always looks cross. Dickon is poor but happy, and he loves animals. Colin is rich, but ill. He thinks he is going to die. This story unfolds in England.
Before Mary came to England, She had been in India. Her mother was very beautiful and had many friends. But she did not like children. Her father had a lot of work and was not at home very often. Mary was given to an Indian servant. Mary grew into a thin, ugly little girl there. Nobody liked her and she also didn't like anybody.
Some years later, her parents and her servant was dead. So she w
as sent to her uncle. He lived in a big old house in the country, in England. There were many gardens round the house. One day, she found a secret garden. It had walls round it, and she couldn't found the door. For the first time, she was interested in something. She wanted to go into the secret garden.
The garden became the " secret " garden because her uncle lost his wife in the garden. He never wanted to see the garden. So he threw the garden's key and closed the garden. Mary found the key and the door near the garden. And she went into the garden. she looked round excitedly, but everything in the garden was brown. Everything looked very dead. Later, Mary met Dickon. She led him to the garden. She and he worked hard to revive the garden. And the garden was filled with flower and green tree, and it became beautiful. They met Colin later, but he was ill. So they led him to the garden. As he went to the garden, he got well. Mary said " There is a magic in this garden!! ". Actually, as she went to the garden, she changed. She became good and she liked people.
I like this story and its pictures very much. I thought that it was quite natural that she should be not a good girl. The adults around her were bad. But she was a good girl in the garden. I thought the power of it and nature was very big. And I also thought that she met many good persons in England. After I read this story, I felt like going to the garden(410words).
