The Wind in the Willows

I read " The Wind in the Williows ". This is a 4 animal's, Rat, Mole, Badger and Toad, story. These animals in the story are very good friends, but they are very different. Rot is Strong and brave and loves the river. Mole is afraid of things. Badger doesn't like visitors. Toad is very rich and always looking foe exciting new adventures. 3 of the animals, Rat, Mole and Badger, have a problem. It's about Toad. He is interested by new things soon. One day, he saw a big car, and from the day, he was interested by cars. Every time he bought a new car, he had accident. He is a bad driver. So the 3 animals worried about him and tried to stop him from driving. They took him to his bedroom and locked the door. He got angry. He pretended to be ill and caught them off their guard and ran out of his house. Then he took other people's car, and he was captured by police. But he ran out of the prison. He deceived people, stole a horse, broke other people's car and get back his friends. He thought that he is very clever and brave. But his friends didn't think so. They expostulated with him, sometime kindly, and sometime coldly. I was impressed by Rot and badger's words, " Oh, Badger, I hate being unkind to Toad. ", " I hate it too. But we're his friends. We have to tell him these things. " I could feel their bonds of friendship deeply. Finally, Toad reflect on himself and changed. Rat, Mole and badger never thought themselves, but their one friend. And they helped him hardly. I was learned by this story very much. I wondered that I could do things for other people like them(303words).
