Tales from Hans Andersen

I read " Tales from Hans Andersen ". 5 stories was contained in this book, " Thumbelina ", " The Little Mermaid ", " The Ugly Ducking ", " The Nightingale " and " The Emperor's New Clothes ". I have ever read these stories in my childhood. I liked these stories very much. I knew the writer's name, Andersen, but there were some stories which I didn't know he wrote. For example, " Thumbelina ". I have thought that the story was written in Japan by Japanese writer.

As I read, I found that there are some difference between stories in English and stories in Japanese. For example, in The Little Mermaid, I have thought that finally the little mermaid became bubbles and disappeared. But in this story, she became one of the children of the sky finally. They aren't land people or sea people. They are people who do good things for 300 years, and then they go to a great and beautiful country in the sky. I thought they may be angels. And I also thought that this story is much better than that I read in my childhood. I enjoyed reading this book very much♪♪ (199words)
