Stories of Dolls

I choose "Stories of Dolles" this time. This book contains three doll's stories. I liked " The doll's house" the best. I'd like to introduce the story to you.


Amy, Tina and Cordelia are cute dolls. They live red cherry tree cottage. Amy and Tina like the house very much. They think that it's the prettiest doll's house ever. But Cordelia doesn't like the house. She is a bit high-handed. she is a beautiful doll, and she know it. She think that she should live in a doll's palace. One sunny day, Molly, she is tree doll's owner, took them on a picnic.But when they sat on the field, Cordelia was taken away by a magpie. Because he liked Cordelia's sparky jewels. Cordelia spent all day in his nest. She felt lonely. She begged him to take her home instead of giving her shining clip to him. She could barely go back home. But she no longer looked beautiful. Her curls were ragged and wild and her dress was dirty and torn. Nevertheless, she felt happy.


I thought that if Cordelia was not taken away, she would never know the importance of living a house. It was a good experience for her.
