I read "The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse". There are 2kinds of mice, Pipin and Toby, in this story. Pipin lives in a country, and Toby lives in a town. This story is that 2 mice visit each houses. At first, Toby visited Pipin's house. Toby is a Pipin's cousin. When Toby arrived at Pipin's house, Pipin was very glad to see him. Pipin treated him like a lord. For example, making him a seat from soft, squashy moss, taking his on a walk and giving him his best nuts and berries. But they weren't good for Toby. The seat was damp for him. On the way to a walk, the flowers made him sneeze. And he hated nuts. He said, " In town we eat like kings." The country life didn't suit him.
Next, Toby took Pipin to his town. But the life in the town also didn't suit Pipin. He didn't like the noisy crowd, a house with a cat and the fine feather bed. He got a map to the station from Toby, and he got back to his sweet country home.
This was a very short story. But all pages had a lot of big and cute pictures. I enjoyed seeing them very much. Their small worlds were represented in this book. They were so small, but they had their own houses with furniture, and they wore clothes. If anything, I thought that I am a kind of Pipin's type. I like countries very much rather than towns. A lot of green forests, flowers and the murmur of a stream refresh me. The clean air is there. So I hate the dirty air because of exhaust fumes in towns. (283words)
