The Frog Prince

I chose "The Frog Prince" this time.

The heroin of this story is Poppy. She is a princes of a country. She has a fiance, his name is Humperdrink. He is a prince, and he is smelly and sung. So Poppy dislikes him. One day, she went out of her palace with her special golden ball from her father as her birthday present. She slipped on the stone and fell in a pond. And she lose the ball in the pond. Then a frog appeared in front of her, and he told her that he will find the ball instead of her promising his wished. He said,

"Promise that you'll let me live in your palace. I want to
eat from your plate, drink from your glass and sleep on your silken
pillow"

She quickly agreed with his words. But after that she wouldn't keep her promise. But the frog came to her palace and finally he could returned to his true figure.I want to tell that story after.

I read books which I have read when I was a child. I remember the story a bit, but I forgot a lot of them. So to read them now is fresh and funny for me. I thought that the story which I read this time, "The Frog Prince" was a little different of the story I read before.

Poppy is selfishness and is not kind. I have thought that the princesses in the stories for children are all kind and feminine, but Poppy is not. She hate the frog and threw him out of her windows. Though suddenly she was sorry about her terrible act and kissed him, she had him marry her. The reason why she had him marry her is that there is no princesses in the world who can kissed the frog and save him except herself. That is not in course of loves.

I felt interesting that the prince who could return his true figure satisfied himself of her words and decided to marry her in spite of having got rough deals from her before he turned into a handsome prince.(346words)
